Title: Center for Psycho-Oncology Research
Ms. West's research will involve assessment of the internal and external validity of the Cognitive Behavioral Stress Management (CBSM) Group intervention conducted in the parent grant. Under the direct mentorship of the Co-investigator, Ms. West will assess and compare facilitator and outsider ratings of group process (i.e., cohesion, engagement and conflict), using MacKenzie's (1987) Group Climate Scale and the Stutgarter-Bogen (1986) participant assessment of group process.
